- Where are you based, and how far do you travel?
- The studio is in Kingston, Ontario. We work across the province and travel for weddings anywhere in Ontario. Travel within an hour of Kingston is included in the price; beyond that it is agreed in writing before you book.
- How long until we get our photographs?
- Ten to twenty-one days for most sessions. Wedding clients get a sneak peek within the first week. Every frame is edited by hand rather than run through a preset, which is the reason it is not three days.
- Do we get two photographers?
- On the Full Ceremony and Full Day wedding packages, yes. On events, the Elite package includes a second photographer. Everything else is Albin on his own, which for a portrait or family session is the right number.
- How do we hold a date?
- A 30% retainer confirms it, and the balance is due on or before the day. The retainer is non-refundable because holding your date means turning other work away.
- What happens if it rains?
- For portraits and family sessions we move the date at no cost. For weddings we shoot it anyway, because the day is happening either way, and we will have found the indoor options in advance.
- Can we print the photographs ourselves?
- Yes. Every gallery comes with a print release, so you can print wherever you like, at whatever size.
- Do you hand over the RAW files?
- No. The editing is half of what you are paying for, and an unedited file is not finished work. You get the full set of edited photographs at high resolution.
- What should we wear?
- One colour across the group in two or three shades, textures rather than small patterns, and nothing straight out of the packaging. If you are unsure, send photos of the options and we will tell you honestly.
- Are any of your photographs AI generated?
- None. Every image on this site is a real photograph taken by Albin of real people who agreed to appear.
- Do you photograph anything besides weddings?
- Portraits, families, newborns, maternity, baby showers, birthdays, corporate events and architecture. The full list with prices is on the investment page.
- Can we see a full gallery rather than the highlights?
- Yes, ask. Highlight reels flatter everyone, so it is a fair question and we are happy to send a complete set from a comparable day.
- How do we pay?
- E-transfer, in Canadian dollars. Prices on the site are current and hold for thirty days from a written quote.
