How many hours do you need?

Three hours covers the ceremony, family photographs and a short portrait session. Right for a courthouse wedding, an elopement or a small lunch.

Six hours adds the end of getting ready and the start of the reception: entrances, speeches, the first dance. Most weddings fit here.

Ten hours runs from preparations to the dance floor. Choose it if the ceremony and reception are at different venues, or the party matters most to you.

Where we shoot

In Kingston: City Park, the waterfront and the limestone streets downtown. Further out, often in Gananoque, Prince Edward County, Napanee, Belleville, Brockville and Ottawa. Travel within an hour of Kingston is included.

What couples ask before booking

How much does a wedding photographer cost in Kingston?
With Aura Films, $1,195 for up to three hours, $1,895 for up to six hours with two photographers, or $2,695 for up to ten hours with two photographers. The things that change the price are hours, a second photographer and travel beyond an hour of Kingston.
Do we need a second photographer?
If two things happen at once, yes: both of you getting ready in different places, or a large guest list. It is included on the Full Ceremony and Full Day packages and can be added to a Micro-wedding for $350.
When will we get our wedding photos?
A sneak peek within the first week, and the full gallery in seven to fourteen days depending on the package, with a print release.
How far ahead should we book?
As soon as you have a date and a venue. Summer Saturdays go first, and for Prince Edward County a year ahead is not too early.
How do we hold our date?
A signed agreement and a 30% retainer. The balance is due on or before the wedding day.
Who will actually photograph our wedding?
Albin, himself, every time. On the Full Ceremony and Full Day he works with a second photographer. Your photographs are never handed to an associate you have not met.
Is every photograph edited?
Yes. Every delivered frame is colour graded by hand, not batch-processed with a preset. That is why galleries take days, not hours.
What if you are ill on our wedding day?
We arrange an alternative date or, with your agreement, a suitable replacement photographer. If neither works for you, you get a full refund of everything you paid, including the retainer.
Can we see a full wedding gallery first?
Yes. Ask and we will send a complete set from a comparable day, not just the highlights.
